Deep golden hue, explosive, honeyed bouquet, with hazelnuts, and spice on the seriously endowed aromatics that bring to mind Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru or Morlet single vineyard Chardonnays. The palate follows suit, with a full bodied, creamy texture, flavors of buttered popcorn, and toasted almonds and beautiful acidity – even at age 7 – and a heady, spirited finish. This is weighty, well-endowed Chardonnay with all the texture, body, and complexity of a White Burgundy costing twice the price. PSWC
