The 2016 Moret Rully follows boldly in the footsteps of the 2015, with similar striking aromatics to include a full blown, honeyed bouquet that showcases toasted hazelnuts and spice. This continues to punch well above its station, bringing to mind 1er Cru Chassagne Montrachets. The palate is full bodied, creamy, with flavors of buttered popcorn, toasted almonds and perfect acidity to frame it all nicely. This is well endowed Chardonnay with all the texture and complexity of White Burgundy costing twice the price. PSWC
