All Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Château De Gironville is a solid, elegant wine offering plenty of red and black currant fruit, notes of cedary herbs and spice, medium-bodied richness, and a clean, classy style that's going to age gracefully. This is one of those wines that grows on you with time in the glass and its elegance and seamlessness keep you coming back. It should keep nicely for 10-12 years and, I suspect, benefit from a few years of bottle age. 90 JD
