The 2018 Rasteau Les Adrès is straight-up impressive and I expect it will be a terrific value. Based on 80% Grenache and 10% each of Carignan and Mourvèdre, still aging all in concrete tanks, it boasts a deep purple color as well as stunning notes of red plums, black raspberries, passion fruits, mint, and spring flowers. Medium-bodied, nicely balanced, with a complex, elegant profile, it’s a beautiful wine in the making. 91-93 JD
