The 2018 Barolo is gorgeous, and also one of the handful of wines in this vintage with notable character. Layered and medium in body, with real depth, the Cannubi has quite a bit to offer. Dried flowers, mint, cedar, tobacco, and incense all build in the glass, playing off a core of macerated dark cherry fruit. What a nice surprise this is. V
