The 2020 Lioco Chardonnay is a masterful blend of multiple vineyards throughout Sonoma County, to include some of Lioco’s most famous vineyard designates for added depth and texture. The “basic” sites are fermented and aged in stainless steel for up to six months while the “Cru” vineyards are aged in old oak barrels. The blending of the multiple sites gives us a wine that is very well balanced, with nectarine pit, lemon curds, chervil, brilliant acidity, and perfect balance. Sun-kissed and golden delicious.
